The popular "Ask The Experts" is back at Marin TV with media-related topics presented by professionals in their fields.

These special workshops are only $10 each for all CMCM members. Non-Members can pay a special reduced membership fee of $40 and receive the member workshop price.

February 6th: "Smartphone Productions" with Michael Bouyer
If you are interested in creating media content, with the right training, and a few simple accessories, you can enter the production field using the phone you carry in your pocket!

February 13th: "Comfortable On Camera" with Tiffany McElroy
Learn from an Emmy Award-winning television journalist how to improve the way you communicate and help you deliver your message on camera in a compelling and engaging way. After this workshop, you'll feel as comfortable and confident as a pro!

February 20th: "From Story To Script" with Yoel Iskindir
Learn the basics of developing a script to match your story. Translate your ideas into a proper screenplay format.

February 27th: "Story & Structure" with Andrew Small

On Thursday, November 21st from Marin TV will be hosting a Member Mixer, headlined by community member and dedicated artist Carol Jacobsen. Carol returns with a new wave of art from her “Women Of Color And Accomplishment” gallery exhibit and will be making a presentation. Door prizes of books (see link below for more info).

Refreshments, nibbles, and drinks will be provided and served. We hope to see you all there! :)

President Jimmy Carter's 100th Birthday Jamboree Live @ CMCM!

Tonight/Tuesday, October 1st @ 7:00 PM

CMCM Member Barbara McVeigh and ABC Host Spencer Christian will be hosting the celebration of Jimmy Carter’s 100th Birthday live at CMCM. This year Spencer, who MC'd for The Carters twice for their birthdays in Georgia, will drive the broadcast of The Jimmy Carter Jamboree, a seven year effort to celebrate President Carter, marking his 100th birthday, the first former president in United States history to do so.

Spencer Christian is not only is from Georgia, but he also wrote his own book about Jim Crow laws that he experienced in the South. Carter was a staunch human rights activist, in his own right. It's a real education to understand the collaboration between Jimmy Carter and the Martin Luther King, Jr. legacy, both in Atlanta, Georgia.
