Membership and Training Scholarships

Work Exchange Program
A limited number of scholarships are available to Marin County residents who cannot afford membership or workshops due to financial hardship. Qualified residents may apply for a scholarship, and trade volunteer time in exchange for a membership and access to workshops, to the extent that there is sufficient
volunteer work available. Training workshops will be open to a finite number of scholarship participants. Members can submit a request in writing to our Operations Manager explaining their circumstances. Members will be asked to volunteer in the facility in exchange for membership and class costs at a rate of
one hour of work for every $10 of membership or course cost. In the event that a scholarship member violates the CMCM Code of Conduct, the scholarship may be revoked. If volunteer hours are not completed in a timely
manner, privileges will be suspended until such time that the hours are completed. CMCM asks that one completes at least half of their volunteer hours before workshop registrations.
