About Us

The Community Media Center of Marin (CMCM) is a non-profit organization providing residents of Marin County with access to communication technologies, media training, and the latest digital tools to create original content for cable TV and online media. CMCM operates Marin TV, Marin County's own non-commercial community, educational, and governmental cable channels. Marin TV is available on Comcast (channels 26, 27, & 30) and AT&T U-Verse (channel 99), reaching more than 70,000 Marin households. Marin TV programming is also viewable online via our live streams.

CMCM also offers special organizational services and fee-for-service production assistance for schools, non-profits, and government agencies. Marin is watching Marin TV. Are you what’s on?

Introduction

To create a reservation, go to Create Content >> Reservation. Once there, enter your date/time range, and select items to reserve. You can check if there are any conflicts with other reservations using the "Check Availability" button. Users can print the contract text using the "Printable contract" link.

As the administration user, you can edit any reservation and assign an individual camcorder, etc. to it. You can also change the MERCI status -- Confirmed, Pending, Checked out, etc. You can also add new equipment by going to the Create Content page. To modify the hourly rate and a few other settings, you need to go to http://cmcm-dev.civicactions.net/admin/content/types and click the "Edit" link for the item in question. On the form that appears, you should see a collapsed section toward the bottom called "MERCI." Clicking on this will expand it to display the MERCI settings. Finally there are some additional configuration options, such as opening hours and the contract text, at http://cmcm-dev.civicactions.net/admin/settings/merci
